The Durrett Award
Named after Dr. C. William Durrett, the Durrett Award honors an outstanding adjunct English instructor who is currently teaching in one of Mississippi's community or junior colleges. The nominee for this award must be a member of TYCAM and must be willing to attend the next conference.
THE FATHERREE AWARD
Named after Beverly Fatheree, the Fatheree Award honors an outstanding dual enrollment English instructor who is currently teaching in one of Mississippi's community or junior colleges. The nominee for this award must be a member of TYCAM and must be willing to attend the next conference.
The Vickers Award
Named in honor of Ovid S. Vickers, the Vickers Award honors an outstanding English instructor who currently teaches full time in one of Mississippi's community/junior colleges. The nominee for this award must be a member of TYCAM and must be willing to attend the next conference.
The Webb Award
Named in honor of Dr. Evelyn Webb, the Webb Award honors an outstanding English instructor, current or retired, who has been active in and dedicated to TYCAM or TYCA-SE. The nominee for this award must be a member of TYCAM and must be willing to attend the next conference.
TYCA-SE Stipend Application
With the revenue from textbook sales, the TYCAM Board will award stipends of a maximum $300 to defray the costs of travel for TYCAM members. The total amount of the money will be divided among those who apply. The first preference will be given to those on the program.
